Here's some information on the potato guns I've built. My naming convention
for my guns is [X]SVR-[#], where [X] is "C" for combustion powered, or "P"
for pneumatic, and [#] is just the number of the gun, in the order that I built
it. "SVR" stands for "Sudden Vegetable Relocater". I don't really like this
convention anymore, and I'm trying to come up with something better.
CSVR-4 2003 This is my newest gun. It's pretty much finished, but I'm still tweaking it. This is what I would call an advanced combustion gun. It makes basic guns like my CSVR-1 look like toys. It features:
![]() ![]() Here you can see some details and read my labels. It's hard to see, but the trigger is a black momentary rocker switch on the handle. This was the original trigger switch in the stun gun. ![]() Here it is with the barrel attached. ![]() ![]() And here are two blurry pictures of the inside of the chamber. The two black things on either side of the barrel are the fans, and the thing at the top of the chamber is a spark strip that produces four sparks from the ignition. The strip itself was cut from thin 8" PVC pipe, and the electrodes are short pieces of fence wire.
