Potato Guns

Here's some information on the potato guns I've built. My naming convention for my guns is [X]SVR-[#], where [X] is "C" for combustion powered, or "P" for pneumatic, and [#] is just the number of the gun, in the order that I built it. "SVR" stands for "Sudden Vegetable Relocater". I don't really like this convention anymore, and I'm trying to come up with something better.

CSVR-3
circa 1999

I have never actually considered this gun to be mine, despite the fact that it has always been in my possession (and I've given it a designation). I built it for a friend, who lived with his parents at the time, and he didn't think they'd like the idea of him having a powerful potato gun like mine. He bought all the PVC, but he never bought a sparker for it, but I made it very much like my CSVR-1, so I was able to fire it by borrowing CSVR-1's sparker cap. Performance was pretty mediocre, but you can get tons of shots out of just one potato. My friend has since moved into an apartment in a city, so his chances of ever taking it are virtually none.
